Today, Princess Marie was in Herlev as Patron of Autism Denmark . This cause is very important for Marie as her nephew (son of her brother) is autistic.
She visited SOVI which is a social workplace for autistic people. She was given a tour of the facilities and an insight into their daily life.
The workshop aims to create job identities for autistic people. According to Kongehuset : ” Employees learn to be included in workplace and communities through an individual planned course to prepare them for the labor market.” Marie had the occasion to meet a lot of people in the workshop as you can see in the video.
She also wore Sergio Rossi black suede ankle boots and an old UFO clutch. She first wore these booties at the Festival of Light in May 2016.
We’ll next see Marie on Monday when she’ll attend the Youth Talent Academy graduation ceremony.She wore diamond earrings with an aquamarine ring and a Fleur de Lys brooch that she first wore for the Christmas Eve service.
