Today, Princess Marie was in Vordingborg as Patron of the Danish Association for Autism. Princess Marie first visited the Stronstrom Autism Center where she met patients and learned about the center’s new method.
Princess Marie is really involved in her role as Patron of the Danish Association for Autism, it was one of her first patronage and the cause is really important for her as one of her nephew is autistic.She usually attends several events related to the association every year. Afterwards, she went to BiograffCaffeen to attend the premiere of the new documentary ‘Det Digitale Tilbud’ (‘The Digital Offer’) which was produced by the Center and promote the use of digital tools to help autistic people become self-reliant and to give them a better life.The film has won the “Excellence Award” at the American Short Film Festival and had also been awarded the ‘Recognition Award’ at the Hollywood International Independent Documentary Awards. Princess Marie said that : ” The movie was really good. It shows how important it is to use digital tools to give people with autism a better everyday life”. Princess Marie was involved in the making of the film as she is the one giving a short introduction to the project at the beginning of the film. You can see it below and watch the full film here.
For this important visit, Princess Marie wore an old UFO jacket first worn in 2011 with a purple top and brown pants.
She paired this outfit with amethyst earrings, her old Naledi Copenhagen clutch and her old Sergio Rossi black ankle boots.
