Today, Prince Joachim and Princess Marie joined the royal family to celebrate the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation.

Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary, Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and Princess Benedikte attended the commemoration at the Parliament at Christianborg Palace. Queen Margrethe made a speech celebrating Martin Luther’s 95 theses which started the Reformation. A children’s choir also performed.

In the evening, the family gathered at DR Concert Hall to attend a concert celebrating the Anniversary.  The music was in tune with Luther’s universe with Bach, Wagner and Poulenc.

Prince Joachim and Princess Marie posed on the red carpet.

For the day event, Princess Marie wore her Zara black belted jacket , first worn in 2014 , with her black Chanel skirt, first worn in 2010 , and a new top.

She carried the same Bottega Veneta clutch as earlier in the day with her Jimmy Choo black glitter Romy pumps she debuted earlier this year. The brooch was a gift from Queen Margrethe for Princess Athena’s Christening in 2012 and the earrings are old.
