Princess Marie officially welcomes new international students to the University of Southern Denmark

On Tuesday, Princess Marie was in Odense to take part in the official welcome ceremony of new international students at the University of Southern Denmark.

Princess Marie has been working with the SDU since 2009. Since she herself studied abroad and she has also learned a new culture and a new language upon becoming a Princess of Denmark, she works with the SDU to improve the experience of the new international students each year and to help strengthen the knowledge of university education and research.

After the ceremony, Princess Marie had the opportunity to meet with several students along with Principal Henrik Dam. Almost 1.000 international students from 83 different countries will spend this semester studying at SDU and Princess Marie said she was very happy to see that there were so many students interested in studying in Denmark.

Princess Marie wore a new Tara Jarmon black silk blouse. She wore the same blouse in red during the first day of the French state visit. She paired the blouse with her black Chanel skirt.

She wore her Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ black suede pumps and her Carlend Copenhagen clutch. I believe her earrings might be new but I couldn’t find a good close up of them to be sure.
