It takes place each year on the first Tuesday of October in the Parliament at Christianborg Palace. The family has a passive role in this opening so it often results in very funny photos of the family looking bored while listening to the speeches.

Princess Marie wore a fully recycled outfit for this ceremony. She paired her Paule Ka white and navy coat with her Warehouse floral printed dress. It looks like she added a turtleneck because of the bad weather.

She paired this outfit with her Longchamp navy clutch and her Jimmy Choo ‘Romy’ navy suede pumps. Marie is definitely a fan of the ‘Romy’ pumps as she wore them in black suede on September 26th and 28th, in black glitter on the 29th and in navy today.

She also chose to recycle her Whiteley navy hat.

We’ll next see Princess Marie next Wednesday when she’ll join Prince Joachim and the Danish Royal Family to celebrate Island’s 100th anniversary of Independence.

  1. Today, Princess Marie has been the most elegant woman of the royal family (and this is also the general opinión of many other websites and journalists).
