Afterward, the royal family traveled to Roskilde Cathedral by train. The day also marks 50 years since Frederik IX, Queen Margrethe’s father, passed away so the royal family took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid’s grave.

Three wreaths were laid by Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte (Queen Anne-Marie could not travel to Denmark because King Constantine had COVID but her wreath was laid), and two were laid for the Crown Prince couple and Prince Joachim and Princess Marie.

In the evening, the royal family attended a private dinner to celebrate Queen Margrethe’s jubilee. Her 8 grandchildren also attended the dinner.

Princess Marie wore a new Max Mara coat with a new Gerard Darel dress.

She paired the outfit with her Jimmy Choo pumps and her Bottega Veneta clutch. She also wore Queen Alexandrine’s diamond and sapphire brooch and the Golden Jubilee medal.

She also wore a new black hat that could be from Mademoiselle Chapeaux – a Parisian brand.

In the evening, Princess Marie wore a new Elie Saab black gown with repeated earrings and her Rolex watch.

Princess Athena wore a Bonpoint dress with Jacadi shoes. It seems she also wore her mother’s Christine Hvelplund necklace.
