Today, Princess Marie presented the Literature Prize awarded by ambassadors of French-speaking countries in Copenhagen. Read more below.

Princess Marie is Patron of the award since 2009. Prince Henrik was Patron before her. The Prize aims to honor literary works in French translated into Danish, which helps to promote cultural diversity and dissemination of modern French-language literature in Denmark.

This year’s winner is Moroccan author Fouad Laroui for his book “L’Insoumise de la porte de Flandre” which was published in French in 2017 and in Danish in 2019. The book tells the story of Fatima, a university student who questions her place and her condition as a Muslim woman in Brussels.

Princess Marie wore a new Emporio Armani blazer with matching trousers and a repeated navy top.

She paired the outfit with her Jimmy Choo pumps, her Naledi Copenhagen clutch, and her Christine Hvelplund necklace.
