Last week, Princess Marie spent two days in Skågen as she attended several events in her role as Special Cultural Representative for the Danish Embassy in Paris. Read more below.

On Wednesday, Princess Marie first attended a meeting about the power of art with Art2030 (above) before visiting Klitgaarden Refugium which offers accommodation to Danish and foreign artists and writers.
In the evening, she attended a reception at Skågen Museum where she saw the exhibition “Krøyer and Paris. French connections and Nordic tones”
On Thursday, Princess Marie first attended an international symposium that aimed to create more collaborations between Danish and French museums after a three-year research-based collaboration between Skagen’s Art Museums and the Musée Marmottan Monet in Paris.
In the evening, Princess Marie gave the bonfire speech at the Sankt Hans celebration in Skågen. She said: “At a time when unrest is raging here in Europe, and where so many of our fellow human beings are suffering, I feel deep gratitude for the community here tonight. Let us celebrate peace together and rejoice in the community – right here, right now – and let us wish each other a good Sankt Hans.”
On Wednesday, Princess Marie first wore a white outfit before changing into her Emporio Armani suit.

In the evening, she wore a new Ba&Sh printed midi dress.

She paired the outfit with her Tod’s shoes and her Mauro Orietti Carella clutch. She also wore repeated earrings and her Christine Hvelplund necklace.

On Thursday, Princess Marie first wore a new Ba&Sh dress with a red belt and her Louis Vuitton scarf.

She paired the outfit with her Gaimo wedges, a brown clutch, her Georg Jensen earrings, and her Christine Hvelplund necklace.

In the evening, she wore a new Emporio Armani blazer with a blue tank top and white trousers.

She wore the same Gaimo wedges as earlier in the day with a Longchamp bag and new earrings.

It is so good to see Marie in something other than black! These are nice dresses and the white jacket is superb. I am not sure I like the trousers she paired the jacket with. The material of the trousers didn’t look as nice a quality as the jacket. The white and blue Ba&Sh dress is a little too Boho to me for a Royal engagement. It looks like it would be a nice comfortable beach dress. The first Ba&Sh dress looked very nice.
