Princess Marie attends the AIDS-Fondet’s Christmas Concert

Princess Marie was at Trinitatis Church in Copenhagen today to attend AIDS-Fondet’s Christmas Concert.

This concert has been held annually since 1996 and Marie has attended the concert since she became Patron of the organization in 2012. She was accompanied by Susse Wold, the President of the Fondation. Susse broke her ankle recently but it did not prevent her to attend the concert.
Opera singers Jens-Christian Wandt and Andrea Pellegrini performed at the concert. Susse Wold said to Billed-Bladet that :“It was a fantastic concert”.

After the concert, Susse Wold and Princess Marie made a speech that you can read here.In her speech, she stated the importance to talk about HIV and AIDS. A reception was held afterwards.

Charles-Henri Keller, Prince Henrik’s nephew who is very close to Prince Joachim and Princess Marie ,was also there.

For this event, Princess Marie wore a new red jacket by Paule Ka with an old black turtleneck and an UFO black skirt she debuted earlier this year.
