Prince Joachim and Princess Marie attends Opening of Parliament + Rolling Stones concert

Yesterday, the Danish Royal Family , without Prince Henrik, attended the official Opening of Parliament in Copenhagen.

It takes place each year on the first Tuesday of October in the Parliament at Christianborg Palace. The family has a passive role in this opening, hence the usual lack of photos.

Here is a video of the family’s arrival :

Princess Marie wore a new nude/light pink coat with an old dress that she first wore at the Opening of Parliament in 2014 . The coat is from Reiss and was found by Alina !

Marie wore her grey Gianvito Rossi pumps first worn in December 2015 with an old UFO clutch from 2010 (also debuted at the Opening of Parliament) and her daisy brooch. I don’t know the brand of the hat but it was first worn in 2014 at the Opening of Parliament, with the same dress.

Princess Marie visits a summer camp for autistic children

Today, Princess Marie visited a summer camp for autistic children in Helsingor as Patron of the Danish association for autism. It is the 10th edition of the camp. Princess Marie last visited it in 2012.

Princess Marie met with the children and took part in the activities of the day, including a treasure hunt, despite the bad weather. After the treasure hunt, children and their families reunited to eat a well deserved ice cream.

The association invited 80 families with autistic children for a holiday in the summer camp. During their stay , the families are able to took part in nature expeditions, climbing and a circus show.

For this visit, Princess Marie wore a weather appropriate outfit. Her rain jacket is from the Danish’s Rio 2016 merch by Vero Moda. Her top is from Reiss, first worn during a humanitarian trip to Cambodia in 2012.
